Thankful.

Thankful.

Today is Thanksgiving, and I am sitting on my couch, enjoying my piece of caramel apple pie and a cup of Earl Grey tea. I spent the whole day surrounded by delicious food and my wonderful family.

On days like today, we’re “forced” by society to think about what we hold close to our heart- and in a way, it’s a good thing that we’re forced.

Whether we’re at school or work, we speed through our day, focusing on what needs to be done next. We don’t have time to look around at what we are doing in the present.

It’s important that we take time to be grateful for the people/things in our life, especially when we are in the busy-ness (haha, business. get it?) of life. Not just on Thanksgiving, which is only 1 day out of the 365 in the year.

So once Thanksgiving break ends, take 5 minutes each day to be grateful, whether in prayer or meditation or whatever else you do. Write a few things you’re grateful for each day, and you’ll start noticing the difference in how you act around others.

As for my Thanksgiving, I have so many people in my life that are blessings to me. Here are just a few of them:

Mami- my best friend.
Alex- my incredibly caring boyfriend.
Christy Altomare may not *literally* be in my life, but she might as well be, considering her singing/acting has played such a large role in my life.
Erin- my person.
Kira- my theatre sister.
Nicole- I haven’t seen her in almost 3 months, but she is still one of the most influential people in my life.
Megan- My big! She’s saved my life AND served me coffee.
My Her Campus gals!
Caroline- A constant source of kindness and love.
Sarah- Her smile & positive energy makes my heart so full!
Lauren- ~Everything to win~ with you as my friend.
Cinderella, I’m so grateful I got to play you.
Neha- 4 and a half years strong on our friendship!
Lauren- my GBig
Grateful that I get to bring Disney princesses to life.

I’ll always be grateful for you both.
Familia
Emily- I can’t wait to see where our new friendship takes us.
